All Things Microsoft Announced at E3 2018

Microsoft's strategy seems to be acquiring studios to up it's game in the original gaming content which is exclusive for Xbox. Microsoft announced that it acquiring gaming Studios Ninja theory, Playground Games, Undead Labs and Compulsion Games.


All of these acquisitions will help Microsoft to get more content for it's game download subscription service Xbox game pass. The new studios will be part of the Microsoft Studios brand which also have Halo maker 343 industries and the studio behind Minecraft which company acquired for $2.5 billion dollars in the year 2014. 


Playground Games, established in 2010, is the developer behind the Forza racing series and has been a long-time Xbox partner. The partnership announcement comes alongside the announcement of Forza Horizon 4, a new title in the series.


Ninja Theory has designed titles including Hellblade, Undead Labs has released the State of Decay series, and Compulsion Games is working on its new title We Happy Few which will launch this year.


Microsoft unveiled latest edition to its first person shooter game - Halo. According to Microsoft Halo infinite will be "greatest adventure to save humanity", although there is not much information about what the latest entry to the popular game series will focus  upon. Watch the trailer


Microsoft also announced its much awaited Crackdown 3 gameplay trailer and announced that the game will be released in February. Watch the trailer

Playground games was among the five studios which were acquired by Microsoft. There was a big spotlight on the game Forza Horizon 4 which will have changing seasons as players ride through the UK countryside and the game will feature more than 450 cars and it will be released on October 2nd. Watch the trailer


Microsoft also announced that Ori and the Blind Forest's sequel will be exclusively launched on Xbox One and Windows 10 and it will have a much larger world and new puzzles for players to solve. Watch the trailer


Also announced at E3 was Kingdom hearts 3 with will have characters from Disney Frozen. Watch The Trailer


CapCom's hack and slash title Devil May Cry 3 will be released next spring. Watch the Trailer


In one of the major crossovers bandai namco announced jump force which is a new fighting game and it will feature some of the most beloved anime characters such as Naruto and Dragon ball's Goku. 




Fallout 76 was one of the big pre-E3 reveals. The game is set in West Virginia and it is four times bigger than the already huge Fallout 4. Although it is not sure what you’ll do in the wasteland; Fallout 76 is interestingly an online game with a focus on building settlements. Watch The Trailer
