SAP Looks To Battle SalesForce in CRM With Its New Cloud Suite

SAP is looking to move beyond it's ERP business and take a stab at CRM market by competing with players like Salesforce, Microsoft and Oracle. It has been on an aquisition spree since last couple of years when it acquired Hybris  for $1 billion dollars  for its logistics software suite. And then it acquired Gigya for $350 million for customer identity and then CallidusCloud for price for quote suite of software. SAP has combined all of these pieces together to build a mega business software product suite which it is calling SAP C/4HANA.
